Babies. Tiny tootsies. Little blonde curls. This is the joy that fills my home! Lilah and I are spending the winter months missing Chase and Daddy while they work and go to school. We play baby, we play puppy, and we climb all over the couch. The couch is the center of our home.
Rows of babies and their tiny toes. Curls spread across the soft blue. Purring coming from one of the girls… Lilah or our kitty, Keeko, not sure which. Children on my lap. Movie nights in with my husband. Dad PILE on the couch! Covered in our loved ones. This is how I want to remember my children’s childhood. These are the things that matter.
I always thought the kitchen would be our center point. The food, the table, and the gathering place. But I think we just had the wrong couch all along. Who can snuggle at the table? Who can doggy-pile in the kitchen? Who is comfortable cozying up to do homework on the kitchen counter? To answer my own question: umm heck to the NOT US! With such small kids still in our arms so much of the day, it turns out that a huge cozy couch is the center of our home. It’s safe to say we are obsessed.
Before this couch we watched movies on our own couches across the room from each other. Let me tell you that’s not anyway to watch a movie with your forever boyfriend. Give me a seat next to the only man I ever want to argue movie options with! Give me apt2b.
Dear apt2b, thank you so much for making our living room the place to be! Thank you for giving us the cushions to make memories on! My tiny babies are only babies for a short while. I’ll take all the snuggling I can get! #mommypile!
This post was sponsored by apt2b! But all thoughts and opinions are my own. And oh my goodness. I cannot say enough good things about our amazing sofa!
Here is our couch! It’s call the Bradbury and we got it in Performance Glacier. And it is gorgeous!
