I was asked by Carusele to participate in the #HallmarkAtWalgreenscampaign, sponsored by Hallmark at Walgreens. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own.
So let’s talk Holiday details. Who bakes the cookies at your home? Hangs the décor? Walks around singing carols? And who is in charge of bringing back family traditions each year? Thankfully, at our house I don’t have to say I do those things alone, but it can still be overwhelming. I love the holiday season. 100%. And today I’m partnering with Walgreens and Hallmark to bring you a simple yet sweet holiday idea for your favorite people!
Each year with my kids and our little family gets better and better. At this point, we have established traditions and each year they get a bit more fun as the kids are old enough to participate more and can remember past years. The anticipation leading up to Christmas sends me straight into blissed out mommy mode. I play carols on the piano, make homemade chocolates, simmer Christmas smells on the stove day after day. Now, I do my best to get it right down to all the details, but sometimes things can fall through the cracks. Thank you Hallmark for caring as much as I do about the tiny details. I dress up my holiday gifts with Hallmark gift wrap. You can choose from wrapping paper, gift bags, bows, ribbons, tags and tissue to make your gifts shine. Hallmark holiday gift wrap helps make gift giving and receiving fun, exciting, surprising and personal.
We send out Christmas cards every year with personalized notes to our loved ones. We send a family photo right along with these gorgeous Signature cards from Hallmark. They are a hit every time! They are a beautiful Christmas tradition to have. They keep it simple and beautiful. One other thing, they also have gorgeous wrapping paper and ornaments! #getout!? Right? They basically are taking Christmas prep and turning it into a well oiled darling Christmas-Magic-Perfecting-Machine.
So basically, I take my tiny people with me to my local Walgreens and stand in awe in the card isle taking in all the options. My kids love this part of it. They take the time to sit on the floor and look at the cards one by one until they pick the perfect one. Little miss Lilah was with me as we did this year’s grandparent cards. She picked the sweetest Nutcracker one for Mama (Sean’s mom has always been to my kids “mama” which I love, they call me Mom or Mommy). She picked a train one for Papa and I grabbed a Christmas tree one for my mama. Each card is so detailed and really honestly just quite special.
Honestly, my favorite thing? I can always find something that I just feel is perfect for the person I am searching for. I have never left once empty handed when I’m in the Hallmark section. They have always had just the right card for what I need.
Let me know in the comments how you are making each day special for the Holidays!
